Here’s the description from their site: (www.smartycard.com )
SmartyCard allows kids to earn stuff they want by completing educational and grade appropriate activities. The rewards include subscriptions to their favorite virtual world or physical rewards such as books, video games, DVDs and toys.
SmartyCard is best for kids in grades 3 to 6, though some younger kids may love the challenge. With SmartyCard, kids learn, earn and play!
If you want to learn more about SmartyCard, Techmama has a great post about it on her site. Here’s the link: SmartyCard “Educational” Online Gaming
Build a Robot: Lastly, here’s a fun blog entry that teaches you how to build a robot your kids will enjoy over and over again. But if you take this basic premise, you can build on this for other things as well. Love that sheet pans are magnetic!
